Identity Theft and Identity Fraud are terms used to refer to all types of crime in which someone wrongfully obtains and uses another person’s personal data in some way for financial gain. Similarly, Small Business owners are frequently targeted in varying ways including Check Tampering and Cyber Security, wreaking havoc on bottom lines.
In this workshop we will learn how to recognize, respond, and review steps to help deter fraudulent activities.

Ray Giovanni is an experienced bank branch manager with a demonstrated history of working in the banking industry while entrenched in the Market / Community being served. He is skilled in retail banking, credit needs and team building. Ray is a strong sales professional and from the University of Bridgeport. He is also President of the Monroe Chamber of Commerce.
JoAnne Almonte is a branch manager with over 39 years of experience in retail baking in the tri-state area and is secretary of the Monroe board. She is a relationship builder, coach, and has a strong passion to help her customers achieve financial goals and peace of mind. JoAnne coaches her team of bankers to help them build relationships with confidence through effective training and education.
She has a strong belief that educating people empowers them and helps build confidence and success in their personal and work lives. She is motivated by helping others achieve their financial goals every day!
Janice Snyder is a Business Relationship Banker / AVP covering the Monroe & Oxford Markets. She excels and enjoys building lasting relationships with local businesses by establishing and satisfying their Business Banking and Small Business Lending needs. Janice’s commitment to helping her clients achieve their desired results individually sets her apart from the competition. Her enthusiasm and motivation for the customer to have a successful experience in dealing with her and Newtown Savings Bank staff has resulted in many long term, established relationships over her 43 year Banking Career. Janice’s involvement in the community is exemplified by her ongoing commitment to the Monroe Chamber of Commerce, where she held the position of Treasurer for many years, and currently holds the position of Vice President.
