Tell Me a Story: How to Focus the Narrative of You and Your Business
Nobody loves a sales pitch…. Everybody loves a good story. In fact, the right story can add enough value to your brand that you can actually charge more for it. Today, Merrill Loechner, Chief Storyteller with Smith Douglass Associates, will be discussing how to figure out what your story is, who your target audience should be, and how to create an engaging narrative about who you are and what you offer. We’ll also discuss the “shapes” of various narratives and how to modify your stories depending on your audience.
From Merrill’s presentation you will learn:

About our Presenter:
Merrill has been working in marketing, communications, and business development for her entire career. From small technology start-ups to multi-national corporations, she has worked with lawyers, scientists, and engineers across the country to find new markets and expand their businesses.
She is now an independent consultant, helping small and growing companies find their voice and tell their stories, without destroying their budgets.
A published author since she was nine, and currently an active podcaster, she loves to coach her clients on the power of storytelling to differentiate themselves in crowded and clamorous markets.
